Wedding Advice For Guys - Don't Rush to the Altar

You've finally found a girl that laughs at your jokes, likes how you look, and understands you. Plus, it doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes. Don't let your hormones rage and make you rush into a hasty marriage.
As soon as you become a steady couple, it seems like the pressure is on. Everyone is pairing up. If not, they are desperately trying to get into a relationship. Your friends and family start saying "When's the wedding?"
Wedding? You were just happy to have steady dates for Friday and Saturday night. Maybe you two have already moved in together. That will only fuel the frequency of the questions as to when you're going to tie the knot. Slow down, big boy.
You want to make sure you are marrying a nice person and not just a physically attractive person. How does she treat waiters and waitresses when you're out a restaurant? Does she get angry when she has to wait? Or does she realize that you're trying to get a table at peak hours and of course you'll be waiting a little? If there's a problem with the meal, does she yell at the waiter?
If you see your girlfriend screaming at someone, it's only a matter of time before she'll unleash her fury on you. Take note of this, my friend. Life will not always be perfect but you certainly don't want to be yelled at the first time there's a little bump in the road. Who needs that? You want to be spoken to with respect. This article assumes that you're being a gentleman and treating your girlfriend with the utmost respect.
Keep your eyes and ears open while dating. You want the best person you can find. That is what dating is all about. Try to be objective. This woman will have your children one day. Will she make a good mother? Is she patient? Is she kind? Can she make it with you for the long haul? Give these things a little consideration before popping the question.
